Goodbye 2014…

So 2014 has come to an end. I mean CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? IT’S CRAZY HOW THIS YEAR WENT BY SO QUICKLY.

Maybe that’s because, for me, it was a good year. Not extra-ordinary. But fairly good.

A good IPCC result, an interesting IT training, an awesome second year result, lots of career arguments, first vote, first self baked cake (I used a cake mix ssshhh), a few but important days spent with close friends, a disastrously short hair cut, an extremely disappointing finale of How I Met Your Mother, a Breaking Bad binge, two seasons of Masterchef, first rakhi without brother, a pathetic Flappy Bird high score, endless time spent at imagining unreal stuff, lots of interesting days at CAT prep class, an awesome birthday, new friends, a 26 km long trek, a new blog, a number of depressing mocks, a number of stressful exam days, parent’s silver jubilee, an average CAT result, a couple of fantastic days in Mumbai, 4 new favorite books, a fabulous Cristopher Nolan film, an epic Hobbit movie, lots of uncontrollable laughing fits, way too many LSSs, more proud moments than the embarrassing ones, a number of beautiful rainy days, happy days, bad days, self-doubting days, dancing days and just average days later, here I am…on the last day of 2014. THE LAST DAY OF 2014.

Really unbelievable how time passes. This year has been good to me in every way. It has been more than what I expected from it and I’m grateful for all the times it has shown me, good or bad.
So excited to see what 2015 holds for me. Hope it proves to be good, for me and for everyone.
Happy New Year everyone! 🙂

Much Love,
Srishti.
